Dinette Custom Piano Telecaster (SOLD)
The last of its kind! IYKYK.
Gorgeous Custom Dinette Tele , last of the “Pianoteles” ! -
Built completely utilizing re-purposed materials.
Vintage 70’s Mako ( Matsumoku, Japan. Modified for the guitar ) maple neck with a nice patina , weathered nickel hardware, Airline DeArmond neck pickup & Alnico Tele bridge pickup. Brass compensated bridge saddles (3 way). Custom fitted Gibson style jade button Kluson 6-in-line tuners. A little on the heavy side, but not as heavy as a LesPaul.
Body made from the very last remnants of the famous “Oakland 5th ave Teahouse” pianos. Vintage black tolex trim with decorative nickel studs. This one is very similar in style to one of my favorite creations, that I refer to as ,”The Jen Gandy Tele”
( Jen’s has cow-hide trim on the sides. )
Plays like a vintage Fender , as to say , not perfect like a PRS - it has …a natural GRIT !
Offering this for sale to fund an upcoming long distance move !
asking $1850 ( or close respectable offer : )!
